Basement Crack Repair |
Foundation repair is not something homeowners like to think about. Uncertain how to proceed, often homeowners tend to ignore it and hope that the foundation fixes itself. Foundation problems can be stressful and a potentially costly endeavor, particularly if not done under the direction of a professional contractor or foundation engineer. Foundation Repair is needed when your foundation begins to settle or more laterally. Settling of the foundation can occur after building on expansive clays, compressible or improperly compacted fill soils. This is a process that can take days, or even years to witness. Improper maintenance, landscaping and other issues around the foundation can also create the need for foundation repair.

Our injection approach to concrete repairs ensures a lasting bond between the original wall and the repair material. Our materials are flexible enough to withstand our wide temperature swings from 100 degree summer days to below zero winter nights while strong enough to hold back water pressure greater than 25 vertical feet of water colulm. (If you are encountering greater pressures, your home is likely at the bottom of the Long Island Sound). Most of our crack repairs are covered with a zero perm, fire retardant membrane to give a pleasing and clean asthetic look. |
| Carbon Fiber Wall Epoxy Staples |

|
When you have a cut, sometimes you need stitches to keep it closed. Your foundation is no different. While most cuts in concrete walls can be repaired with injection methods, sometimes we have to manually stitch the wall back together. A Carbon Fiber wall staple does just that. A countersunk staple is inserted and secured with epoxy into the wall. The crack is repaired and a membrane is installed over the work so your wall does not look like Frankenstein (as in the picture to the left). |

When Hydrostatic pressure builds up in the soil, or the soils expand with water saturation, over time it can push against your wall and cause bowing. Bowing or a leaning wall can cause serious structural damage in the rest of the home
Budget Dry can stabilize bowing walls in concrete block using
12 In. x 8 Ft. Carbon Fiber & Kevlar Strips. The strips are stronger hhan steel and have virtually a flat profile. This method strengthens displaced walls.
