January 2012 - Chris Kyttle Certifies

Chris Kyttle passes Basement Health Certification Test for Below Grade Waterproofing

At the World of Concrete in Las Vegas, Nevada, Budget Dry's Christopher Kyttle became only the second Certified Waterproofing Specialist in Connecicut. Chris's mastry of OSHA regulation, industry ethics, soil hydrologies and use of epoxies scored him the highest test score in this year's round of testing at the Basement Health Association's annual meeting.

December 2011 - Budget Dry Waterproofing Earns Coveted Angie’s List Super Service

Award Award reflects businesses’ consistently high level of customer service

Budget Dry has been awarded the prestigious 2011 Angie’s List Super Service Award, an honor bestowed annually on approximately 5 percent of all the businesses rated on the nation’s leading provider of consumer reviews on local service and health providers.

November 2011 - Chris Kyttle to Certify

Our service technician, Chris Kyttle, is bravely trying to become the second Certified Waterproofing Specialist in Connecticut, after Budget Dry's Jason Weinstein. Chris is hard at work, both in the field as well as with the books preparing for this grueling examination to prove what we all beleive here, that he is one of the best when it comes to Basement Waterproofing.

October 2011 - Budget Dry named to Remodeling 550 (for third consecutive year)

We received notice this month that for the 3rd straight year, we have been named to the Remodeling 550 list in position #126. Even in a down economy, we continue to climb positions. It is a testiment to the dedicated service we provide to our customers.

June 2011 - Budget Dry adds basement finishing.

After numerous calls from our customers looking to finish they now dry basements, Budget Dry has added carpenters, sheetrockers and electricians to help with the process. Specializing in basic basement finishing, Budget Dry takes the same approach of a contractor that cares and applies it to multiple day projects. From designing and permitting to drop ceilings and bathrooms, we can help you get the most out of your reclaimed space. April 2011 - Budget Dry attends advanced products training.

Budget Dry was invited to participate in Koester US advanced product training. Koester is a worldwide leader in cementous water stop products and crack injection materials.

The 2 day training was both educational and eye opening. Keep an eye out for advanced negative side waterproofing products that Budget Dry will soon be offering. These products are 15 to 20 years ahead of what our competition is using.

April 2011 - BBB upgrades Budget Dry's rating to "A."

The BBB has changed Budget Dry's rating from "A-" to "A." Budget Dry has proven a successful track record in providing outstanding customer service.

January 2011 - Weinstein attends World of Concrete, works industry booth.

Jason Weinstein attended the World of Concrete to both represent Budget Dry Waterproofing as well as the Basement Health Association, formally The National Association of Waterproofing and Structural Repair Contractors. Weinstein was named to the BHA board in August and attended the board's meeting held before the annual meeting at the WOC.

August 2010 - Budget Dry Receives NAWSRC STAR Award at Annual Meeting in San Antonio.

At the National Association of Waterproofing and Structural Repair Contractors (NAWSRC) Annual Meeting in San Antonio, Texas, Budget Dry Waterproofing was one of 12 waterproofing companies in North America to be presented with the STAR (Service and Technicians Assessment Report) Award for outstanding customer service. The award honors NAWSRC members who provide exemplary products or service.

The STAR Award recognizes technicians and vendors in the waterproofing and structural repair industry who receive a high overall rating on four criteria, as judged by consumers who have actually used their products and/or services. Unlike some other rating services, consumers do not pay a subscription fee to submit a rating or receive a referral.
